The Shimano CUES FD-U6030 is a clamp-band front derailleur built for 2x9 and 2x10-speed CUES drop-bar drivetrains, pairing toggle-link construction with an integrated cable tensioner for lighter, more consistent front shifting and simpler setup. Its chainline sits 2.5mm further outboard than a conventional road front derailleur, opening up extra tyre clearance for gravel and all-road builds.

Toggle-link shifting

The toggle-link cage design reduces the lever effort needed to move the chain and helps the derailleur hold its position cleanly across both shift directions. The built-in cable tensioner means initial setup and later fine-tuning can be done without a separate inline adjuster.

Built for drop-bar gravel and all-road

With a down-swing body and down-pull cable routing, the FD-U6030 follows traditional cable paths while its outboard chainline frees up room at the chainstay for wider tyres. It suits the chainstay angle window Shimano specifies for CUES drop-bar frames.

Compatible with Shimano CUES 2x9 and 2x10-speed drivetrains and intended for use with LINKGLIDE drop-bar shifting. Down-swing, down-pull design for a 47mm chainline, supporting a maximum 46-50T outer chainring with 16T total capacity. The 34.9mm clamp band ships with 31.8mm and 28.6mm adapters to suit common seat-tube diameters. Designed for frames with a 62-66 degree chainstay angle.
