The Shimano CN-M9100 is Shimano's top-level 12-speed HYPERGLIDE+ chain. It was launched with the XTR M9100 mountain bike groupset and is the chain Shimano specifies for the Dura-Ace R9200 road groupset as well, so it is the right replacement for either drivetrain. Supplied at 126 links with a Quick Link, so it fits the longest road and MTB chain lengths and can be shortened to suit.

Compatibility and fit

Shimano HG 12-speed chain. Specified for the Dura-Ace R9200 road groupset and the XTR M9100 / M9120 mountain bike groupsets, and compatible with every Shimano 12-speed HYPERGLIDE+ drivetrain (Ultegra R8100, 105 R7100, GRX RX820, XT M8100, SLX M7100, Deore M6100) and Shimano STEPS e-bike systems. Not compatible with 11-speed or earlier drivetrains. The Quick Link is single-use: fit a new link if the chain is opened again. Shorten to length before fitting.

Shimano warrants to the original retail purchaser that its bicycle components are free from non-conformities in material and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase; Dura-Ace and XTR components are covered for three years.
