The RS710 C32 shares its development philosophy with Shimano's flagship Dura-Ace and Ultegra wheelsets. The 32mm rim profile is built around Shimano's D2 aero shape — a blunt leading-edge carbon form refined in the wind tunnel to reduce drag without sacrificing the light, responsive ride feel that makes shallow-depth carbon rims a favourite for climbing and mixed-terrain riding. At 1,504g, the C32 sits at the lighter end of carbon road wheelsets, making it an excellent choice for long days in the hills or criteriums where acceleration is everything.
Tubeless Ready
Both rims feature a hooked tubeless-compatible bead seat (21mm internal width) and come supplied with tubeless rim tape and valves. Running tubeless allows lower tyre pressures for greater grip and comfort, improved puncture resistance, and a marginal weight saving over a traditional inner tube setup. The drilled drain channels in the rim bed prevent standing water from building up inside the rim — a practical detail for wet-weather Australian riding.
Compatibility & Fit
Designed for 700c road and gravel bikes with disc brakes. Front hub: 12×100mm E-THRU axle. Rear hub: 12×142mm E-THRU axle. Rotor mount: Center Lock (lock ring included). Freehub: Shimano HG11, compatible with Shimano 11-speed and 12-speed road cassettes. Tyre clearance suits 25–32mm road tyres. Not compatible with rim brakes or quick-release axles.
Shimano wheels are covered by a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper installation or use, or consumable components such as spokes and tubeless tape.
