The R6 is Scope's aero road wheelset: 65mm deep rims taken from the Artech series, a 23mm hooked internal width for 28mm tyres, and a claimed 1525g set weight.

Race Series technology

Scope's Race Series borrows the rim profiles of its Artech series, shaped by Scope's Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics (AEA) process, without the Artech's Aeroscales. Local Reinforcement adds carbon layers only around the spoke holes to save weight while keeping strength and stiffness, and the Scope Tubeless System is designed for easy mounting, direct inflation and long-lasting pressure.

R-Series hubs

The rear hub uses Scope's 36T Diamond Ratchet SL engagement: titanium, finished with a diamond-like carbon coating for direct engagement, durability and low weight. Both hubs run SKF bearings and a mechanical labyrinth seal that keeps dirt out for long-term reliability. Wheels are laced with Sapim CX-Ray spokes.

Compatibility & fit

Disc brake only, with Centerlock rotor mounts. Axles are 12 x 100mm thru-axle front and 12 x 142mm thru-axle rear. Choose a Shimano HG freehub body for Shimano road cassettes or SRAM XDR for SRAM XDR cassettes. The hooked rim is tubeless ready and compatible with tubeless and clincher tyres; Scope's optimum tyre width is 28mm. Wheel fitting, tyre installation and set-up are separate Tune Cycles workshop services and are not included.

Scope provides a limited three-year warranty on its Race and Sport series wheels against manufacturing and material defects. It covers the original purchaser and is activated by registering the product with Scope within 30 working days of purchase. Wear parts such as rim tape, freehub bodies, pawls, springs, bearings and decals are excluded, as is damage from crashes, impacts, improper use or incorrect assembly. Scope also runs a separate lifetime crash replacement programme. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with the brand's Australian distributor.
