What the .A means

The .A suffix marks Scope's All-Road models, and the R3.A is its lightest, most climbing-focused all-road option. The shallow 30mm profile keeps weight and cross-wind sensitivity down, while the 23mm internal width gives wider tyres a well-supported shape for comfort and grip.

Race series technology

Scope develops its wheels in-house in the Netherlands. The rim profile comes from its Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics (AEA) process, and Local Reinforcement adds carbon layers only around the spoke holes to save weight while keeping strength and stiffness. The Scope Tubeless System rim shape is designed for easy mounting and direct inflation, and the hubs use Scope's diamond-hardened ratchet for direct engagement and durability.

Compatibility & fit

Built on 12 x 100mm front and 12 x 142mm rear thru-axle hubs for disc brake frames and forks with Centre Lock disc brake rotors (rotors not included). Choose the freehub body that matches your cassette. The hooked rim is tubeless ready and Scope states it also works with clincher tyres and inner tubes. Wheel set-up, tyre fitting and cassette installation are separate Tune Cycles workshop services and are not included.
