Slip-over, not click
Unlike a click wrench, the Safe-Torque slips over once the set torque is reached, so the fastener can't be overtightened. Set the value with audible and tactile clicks at each scale mark. Torque Lock switches the torque function off so it works as a normal ratchet with high loosening torque and for angle-of-rotation work. After release, the reset angle is only 30°.

Compatibility & fit
Takes 1/4" hex bits directly, and 1/4" square-drive sockets via the 870/1 adaptor. Check the torque printed on your stem, seatpost or component manual; if it falls within 2–12 Nm, this set covers it.
Wera warrants its torque tools against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear, misuse, modification and damage from abuse are not covered. Like any torque tool, it should be checked and recalibrated periodically; Wera Tools Australia names Zenith Sales and Calibration Pty Ltd as its approved Australian repair and calibration centre for Wera torque tools. This sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
