A 1/4" torque wrench that simply won't let you overtighten. When the set torque is reached the Safe-Torque A 1 slips over instead of clicking, so a heavy hand can't push past the number.

Slip-over, not click

Unlike a click wrench, the Safe-Torque slips over once the set torque is reached, so the fastener can't be overtightened. Set the value with audible and tactile clicks at each scale mark. Torque Lock switches the torque function off so it works as a normal ratchet with high loosening torque and for angle-of-rotation work. After release, the reset angle is only 30°.

Compatibility & fit

Takes 1/4" square-drive sockets and bit sockets. Check the torque printed on your stem, seatpost or component manual; if it falls within 2–12 Nm, this wrench covers it. The Safe-Torque A 2 is the same tool with a 1/4" hex drive for bits.
