Python helical core

The inner grip surface is a spiral core that tightens around the bar as the grip twists under load, spreading clamping force along the whole grip rather than relying only on the lock ring – Ritchey backs this with a single-side lock ring rather than needing lock rings at both ends.

Compatibility & fit

Fits standard 22.2mm MTB handlebar ends; closed-end design, so no separate bar-end plug is needed on the grip side. Allen key required to tighten the lock ring. The Tune workshop can fit grips as part of a cockpit setup.

Ritchey covers this product for two years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship (the Ritchey International warranty, which covers Australia). Ritchey lists grips as wear items, so normal wear isn't covered. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Ritchey's Australian distributor. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, so keep your proof of purchase.
