Tallac Mid BOA takes the Tallac trail shoe higher, with a mid-height collar and moulded D3O ankle protection for aggressive trail and all-mountain riding on flat pedals. The BOA dial gives a precise fit you can adjust on the fly.

Highlights

• Mid-height collar with 3D-moulded D3O protection on both sides of the ankle
• PerformFit Wrap from the BOA Fit System with an Li2 dial
• MaxGrip rubber outsole with reverse hex relief at the toe and heel
• Level 4 flex balances power transfer with control on rough ground
• 455 g per shoe (men's US 9)

Ankle protection

The mid-height collar integrates 3D-moulded D3O protection on the inner and outer sides to add support and shield your ankles from side impacts. More D3O sits in the top-of-foot pads and the High Impact Zone Technology insole, and a TPU mud guard protects the welded Cordura upper from dirt, debris and rubbing.

Fit and grip

The PerformFit Wrap from the BOA Fit System, with integrated D3O, is designed to improve power transfer and efficiency while giving a precise, micro-adjustable fit; the Li2 dial tightens and loosens in both directions on low-friction textile laces. Underfoot, MaxGrip rubber in a hexagon pattern grips flat pedal pins, reverse hex relief at the toe and heel helps on hike-a-bike sections, and an EVA midsole adds support and shock absorption.
