The Youth Livewire gives young riders the same redesigned flat pedal shoe as the adult version, in smaller sizes with a softer flex and padding tuned for kids who ride hard. A glued and stitched High Grip rubber cup outsole keeps feet planted on the pedals, and TPU toe and heel protection takes the knocks.

Highlights

• High Grip rubber outsole for traction and pedal feel on flat pedals
• Cup outsole is glued and stitched for durability
• Youth-specific build: smaller sizes, softer flex and tuned padding
• TPU toe and heel protection with reinforced anti-abrasion film
• Dual-density EVA insole for support and cushioning
• Lace closure with an elastic lace tuck; fully gusseted tongue keeps dirt out

Grip and pedal feel

The outsole uses Ride Concepts' High Grip rubber in a cupped design that is both glued and stitched. A medial arch adds support for impact damping and power transfer, and the dual-density EVA insole adds cushioning for long days on the trail.

Tough enough for groms

A synthetic canvas and microfibre upper resists abrasion and weather. TPU protection at the toe and heel, reinforced with an anti-abrasion film, shields feet from impacts, a fully gusseted tongue keeps dirt and debris out, and an anti-bacterial mesh lining helps control odour.

Compatibility & fit

The Youth Livewire is made for flat pedals only; Ride Concepts says it is not compatible with clipless pedals. Sizing is US youth, so check the conversions below before ordering.
