Tallac is Ride Concepts' lightweight lace-up trail shoe for flat pedals, made for cross-country and trail riding. The stitch-free Cordura upper is light and breathable, and a supportive, vibration-dampening midsole keeps things calm on rough trail, with enough comfort to stay on after the ride.

Light, simple fit

A traditional lace closure sets tension along the whole foot, and an elastic lace tuck keeps the laces out of the way. A fully gusseted tongue keeps the fit snug and stops it shifting, and a heel pull tab makes the shoe easy to get on. Ride Concepts notes that many riders also wear the Tallac off the bike after a ride.

Grip and protection

MaxGrip is Ride Concepts' softest and grippiest rubber compound, tuned for pedal contact and feel. The hexagon outsole pattern lets flat pedal pins bite, and reverse hex relief at the toe and heel gives you traction when a climb or descent turns into a hike. A TPU mud guard protects against dirt, debris and rubbing, and an EVA midsole with a D3O High Impact Zone Technology insole absorbs impact and reduces fatigue. An anti-bacterial mesh lining controls odour.
