Threaded, collet or press-fit

BSA and T47 versions thread in with a single Praxis M30 tool and are tightened to 40Nm. The BB30/PF30 and BBright versions use Praxis's expanding collet: the cups thread together through the shell and a rubber collet expands inside it, so fitting takes a press and two M30 tools. The 386EVO and BB86/90/92 versions are straight press-fits that need a press to fit and a cup or bearing remover to take out.

Compatibility & fit

For M30 spindles only: Praxis M30 cranks such as the Zayante Carbon, Alba, Cadet, Girder, Zane and DH-9, plus Infocrank M30, Box BMX M30 and Oval M30 cranks. Praxis's M30 THRU cranks (Doon, Lyft) take the 30/30mm M30 THRU bottom bracket instead. Praxis notes the Infocrank M30 won't fit the 386EVO version because of its arm shape. The 68mm BB30/PF30, BBright, 386EVO and BB86 versions are for road cranks, and the 73mm BB30/PF30, BB90 and BB92 are for MTB cranks. Collet versions need a shell clear of internal cable guides or screws. Fitting is a separate workshop service: the Tune Cycles workshop can measure your frame and fit the right version.

Praxis warrants its bottom brackets to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the original purchase date, to the original owner with proof of purchase. Praxis treats bearings as a wear item: its steel sealed cartridge bearings carry no separate bearing warranty, and its ceramic sealed cartridge bearings carry a one-year Enduro warranty against defects. Normal wear (bearings, seals, anodising), damage from incorrect installation or the wrong installation or removal tools, crash, impact, abuse and any modification are not covered. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, so keep your proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Praxis's Australian distributor.
