Praxis revived the shape of the classic Podium flat pedal, with the blessing of Gamut's founders, and updated it for today's trail riding. The Brodium is thin, concave and pinned for grip, and built to be rebuilt.

Grip you can tune
Each pedal carries 12 black stainless steel pins per side, 48 in total, loaded from the rear and set with a 3 mm hex key. Praxis includes 12 spare M4 pins and 24 spacers so you can raise or lower pin height, and any M4 grub pin also fits.
Built to be rebuilt
Three sealed cartridge Enduro bearings and an Igus bushing per pedal run on a forged, heat-treated 4140 chromoly axle. When the bearings wear, the Praxis G1 Brodium bearing and bushing rebuild kit restores a pair. The Tune workshop can fit your pedals or carry out the rebuild as separate workshop services.

All four colours share the same body, axle, bearings and pins.
Compatibility & fit
Praxis says the Brodium works with both alloy and carbon cranks. Grease the threads, install with an 8 mm hex key and torque to 35–40 Nm; the left pedal is reverse-threaded and marked by a groove on the axle shoulder. Re-check the torque after about 100 km. Pedal washers aren't needed, but Praxis allows up to 2 mm per side; on carbon cranks, make sure a washer doesn't touch the carbon around the pedal insert. Compatible with most rubber crank boots. Praxis says these pedals aren't made for indoor exercise bikes.
Praxis warrants its components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the original purchase date, for the original owner with proof of purchase. Normal wear and tear isn't covered, and Praxis treats bearing wear over the life of the pedal as wear. Damage from crashes, impact, incorrect installation (including using the wrong tools) or modification is also excluded.
