Praxis's alternative to SRAM's own DUB bottom bracket: forged and machined alloy cups with sealed Enduro steel bearings, for SRAM DUB cranks in a BSA threaded frame.

Fitting

Praxis's manual has the cups tightened to 40Nm with a single Praxis M30 socket or wrench tool, and Praxis is clear that this BB is not installed with the SRAM DUB tool. Two 2.5mm cup spacers and a range of 29mm dust covers (2.5mm to 9mm) come in the box, and Praxis's setup guide says which ones your frame width and DUB crank need. Fitting is a separate workshop service: the Tune Cycles workshop has the M30 tool and can set up the spacers for your crank.

Compatibility & fit

Only for SRAM DUB cranks (29mm spindle) in a BSA threaded frame. It won't take Shimano 24mm, M24/GXP or 30mm spindles. Praxis lists it for these SRAM DUB crank setups: 68mm road, 73mm road Wide, 68mm MTB, 68mm MTB Wide, 73mm MTB, 73mm MTB Wide, 73mm MTB SuperBoost and 83mm DH. Check your crank's spec before ordering.

Praxis warrants its bottom brackets to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the original purchase date, to the original owner with proof of purchase. Praxis treats bearings as a wear item, and its steel sealed cartridge bearings carry no separate bearing warranty. Normal wear (bearings, seals, anodising), damage from incorrect installation or the wrong installation or removal tools, crash, impact, abuse and any modification are not covered. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, so keep your proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Praxis's Australian distributor.
