A full redesign of Magicshine's e-bike headlight, the ME 1000 V2.0 runs off your e-bike's main battery, puts out up to 1000 lumens through an anti-glare lens and keeps an always-on daytime running light glowing so traffic sees you day and night.

Highlights

• Up to 1000 lumens through an anti-glare lens
• Always-on DRL with added side visibility
• Auto-adapts to 6–60V systems: Bosch, Shimano, Brose, Yamaha and most other motors
• 135° adjustable head: 45° up to 90° down
• Detachable D-type cable: replace the cable, not the light
• Fork and handlebar mounts included; IPX6

Output and motor power

Modes are DRL (30 lm), Low (400 lm), Medium (600 lm) and High (1000 lm). Output depends on what your e-bike's light port supplies: Magicshine rates the full 1000-lumen High mode from 18 W, about 900 lumens at 9 W and about 260 lumens at 3 W.

Built to last

A one-piece CNC-machined aluminium housing with large fins sheds heat on long rides.

In the box

Headlight, one-side handlebar mount, universal fork mount, M3 hex key, three nylon shims (28 mm / 32 mm / 35 mm) and user manual. The motor cable is sold separately.

Compatibility & fit

Choose the ME Series V2 e-bike cable for your motor: Bosch, Bosch BES3 (Gen4 / Gen5), Brose, Giant, Shimano / Bafang or Yamaha. Only the V2 cables fit this light. On Bosch systems, follow the Bosch Power-Match procedure, as Magicshine advises. Our workshop can fit the light and route the cable as a separate service.
