The Kite E is B&M's approved rack rear light for e-bikes with a 6 or 12 V lighting output, with a Z-reflector. Not for dynamos.

Fit

Carrier mounting on the 50 mm standard; B&M notes it does not suit every luggage rack. No brake-light function on this version.

E-bike (DC) only

Wired to the e-bike's lighting output: 5–15 V DC input, 1.7 W draw. It is switched from the e-bike's display or controller and must not be connected to a dynamo. Check your motor system's lighting output voltage before ordering — the Bosch, Shimano STEPS, Bafang and Yamaha outputs all sit in different places.

Busch & Müller lighting and mirrors are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. Damage from crashes, water ingress through an unsealed connection, connecting a DC e-bike light to a dynamo (or a dynamo light to an e-bike supply), and normal wear of brackets, straps and mirror glass aren't covered.

For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim with the distributor for you. This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
