Width for gravel tyres
A 25mm internal width supports 35c and wider tyres, reducing tyre roll in corners and letting you run lower pressures for grip and comfort on rough surfaces.
Steel spokes for rough roads
Magene chose Pillar Wing 20 steel spokes over carbon here for vibration absorption, impact resistance and durability. The front uses 1:1 lacing with crossed spokes on both sides; the rear uses 2:1 lacing for drive-side stiffness.
Swappable ratchet
The 36T flat ratchet engages quickly and cleanly, and the system is designed to take ratchets with different tooth counts.
Compatibility & fit
Disc brake, for 100mm front and 142mm rear thru-axles. This listing is supplied with a SRAM XDR freehub (for SRAM XDR road/gravel cassettes); a Shimano HG freehub is sold separately. Tubeless or clincher tyres, 28c and above. Maximum pressure is 110psi tubeless and 120psi clincher. Two tubeless valves are included. Wheel set-up, tyre fitting and tubeless set-up are available from our workshop as a separate service, not included in the price.
Magene covers power meters and EXAR wheelsets with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Magene's Australian distributor.
