KinetiCore Technology

Rather than bonding a separate plastic slip-plane beneath the outer shell, Lazer's KinetiCore system integrates controlled crumple zones — a series of EPS foam blocks and channels — directly into the helmet's structure. On impact, these zones collapse in a controlled sequence, redirecting energy away from the head and managing rotational forces. The result is meaningful protection at a fraction of the weight penalty associated with traditional MIPS systems.

Ventilation & Aerodynamics

The Z1 KinetiCore's 33 vents are shaped and positioned to generate internal airflow that accelerates across the head. Sloped vent bridges channel air efficiently, while the floating front headband keeps the foam off your forehead to promote evaporative cooling. An optional Aeroshell cover can close the vents to convert the helmet into an aero lid for time trials or adverse conditions.

Fit & Sizing

This is the size Medium, fitting head circumferences of 55–59 cm. The Advanced RollSys dial-adjust system cradles the back of the head and can be raised or lowered vertically to accommodate different head shapes. Dual-density EPS construction and Polygiene-treated padding complete a comfortable, long-distance fit.
