It clips over the shell to close off the front and side vents, shielding your head from rain, snow and road spray while still letting a little air move through to the rear. This is the Medium Aeroshell in the Clear finish, sized to fit the medium shell of the Lazer Blade family — including the Blade and the women's Elle (the Blade's women's counterpart). Check that you own a size Medium helmet, as the Aeroshell is shell-size specific.
