The Union TC (Trail Clip) is Hope's all-round trail clipless pedal: a supportive platform with a light, predictable entry and smooth release that works well in wet, mucky conditions.

Trail support

A larger shoe contact area improves power transfer and stability, and the 8 replaceable pins add grip for when you're unclipped or reclipping mid-trail. Fully serviceable and rebuildable.

Cleats and set-up

Two cleats come in the box: the No. 4 (4° float, 12° release, lower release effort) and the No. 5 (5° float, 13° release, more release effort). Both allow 2mm of side-to-side float, and cleat shims are supplied to get the shoe sitting right on the platform.

Compatibility & fit

Hope Union cleats are supplied and fit clipless MTB shoes. Pedal fitting and cleat set-up are separate Tune Cycles workshop services — book a workshop service.

Hope Technology covers its components for two years from the original date of purchase against manufacturer defects in material and workmanship. Proof of purchase is required, and damage caused by misuse or by not following Hope's instructions is not covered. For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim for you. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
