The Union RC (Race Clip) is Hope's lightweight cross-country and endurance clipless pedal, balancing strength, weight and performance for racing and long days.

Race-ready as standard

The RC comes with a titanium axle as standard to save weight, on the same serviceable internals as the rest of the Union range. Hope reviewers rate it as a durable, light and tough option for XC and gravel.

Cleats and set-up

Two cleats come in the box: the No. 4 (4° float, 12° release, lower release effort) and the No. 5 (5° float, 13° release, more release effort). Both allow 2mm of side-to-side float, and cleat shims are supplied to get the shoe sitting right on the platform.

Compatibility & fit

Hope Union cleats are supplied and fit clipless MTB shoes. Pedal fitting and cleat set-up are separate Tune Cycles workshop services — book a workshop service.

Hope Technology covers its components for two years from the original date of purchase against manufacturer defects in material and workmanship. Proof of purchase is required, and damage caused by misuse or by not following Hope's instructions is not covered. For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim for you. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
