Lighter than the original Fortus 30 but just as strong, the Hope Fortus 30 Single Cavity is a trail and enduro rear wheel built on a black Pro 5 hub – machine built and hand finished in Barnoldswick, England.

Single Cavity rim

The welded 6061-T6 aluminium rim keeps the 30mm internal (35mm external) width that supports 2.4"–2.8" tyres, but drops to a 20mm profile to save weight. Eyelets reinforce the spoke bed, and 32 black Sapim Race double-butted stainless spokes with silver brass nipples are laced J-bend.

Pro 5 hub

Engagement jumps from 44 to 108 points with an offset 6-pawl freehub, riding on stainless steel sealed cartridge bearings. A zero-drag labyrinth seal keeps dirt out, and the hub is fully serviceable.

Compatibility & fit

Choose the hub dimensions that match your frame – 148 x 12mm Boost or 142 x 12mm (142 is available in 29" only) – and the freehub body for your cassette. Needs a 6-bolt disc rotor. Fitting, tubeless set-up and cassette/rotor transfer are separate workshop services – book a workshop service.

Hope covers its components for two years from the original date of purchase against manufacturer defects in material and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or by not following the instructions in the manual. For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim for you. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
