Built for the latest breed of e-mountain bikes, Hope's E-Bike Crankset puts short, strong aluminium arms on your motor for more ground clearance on technical climbs. This is the standard offset version, matched to Bosch gen 2/4 and Yamaha PW-X motor systems.

Why shorter cranks on an e-bike

Motor assistance means you rarely need long cranks for leverage, while shorter arms reduce pedal strikes on rocky, rooty climbs where e-bikes spend a lot of time.

Three offsets

Hope makes this crank in three offsets to suit different motors and frames: Standard, Narrow and Specialized. Choosing the right one keeps the arms clear of your chainstays and motor cover. This listing is the standard offset.

Compatibility & fit

Compatible only with motor systems using an ISIS spline axle/crank arm interface. Standard offset: Hope rates this model most suitable for Bosch gen 2/4 systems and Yamaha PW-X systems. It is not compatible with the Bosch gen 3 (BNI) spindle interface. Chainstay clearance varies between brands and models, so check your bike against Hope's E-Bike Crank fitment diagram before ordering. Fitting is a separate Tune Cycles workshop service, not included in the price – book at tunecycles.com.au/book.

Hope Technology covers its components for two years from the original date of purchase against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship; damage from normal wear, misuse or not following Hope's recommendations isn't covered. For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim for you. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
