Float answers the demands of the modern trail rider: a firm pedal platform for climbing and a supple, trail-hugging feel on the way down, in a light package. The Performance version gives you the same chassis as Factory with simpler adjustments and a black anodised finish.

Built for trail riding

The large-volume EVOL air sleeve lets you run lower pressure for a more linear feel through the stroke, with smoother small-bump response and better grip. Fox's bolstered valving and oversized IFP widen the tuning range, while the inline layout keeps weight down and suits a wide range of trail frames.

Simple to set up

Flip the 2-position lever to Firm for efficient climbing and back to Open for descents, and set rebound with the 12-click low-speed adjuster. Performance series shocks use a 7000-series aluminium shaft in black anodised.

Fitting and Fox service

Fitting isn't included: shock installation and setup is a separate workshop service. Tune Cycles is an authorised Fox service centre in Marrickville, Sydney, so we can fit your new shock, set it up for your weight and riding, and look after its servicing. Fox recommends a full service every 125 hours of riding.

Compatibility & fit

Match the eye-to-eye length and stroke your frame maker specifies, and check whether your frame takes a standard eye or a trunnion mount. Mounting hardware isn't included; it's sold separately and has to suit your frame's mounts.
