The DB Tigon pairs a steel coil spring with Cane Creek's air-charged RAMP Tube chamber, so it rides with the supple, linear feel of a coil shock but gains the end-stroke progression normally reserved for air shocks. It's built around Cane Creek's DB Twin Tube damper for fully independent high- and low-speed control.

DB Twin Tube damping

Oil circulates continuously through externally adjustable valving instead of the main piston, so compression and rebound are tuned independently at both high and low shaft speeds without opening the shock.

RAMP Tube air chamber

A sealed air chamber (30 psi maximum) sits alongside the coil spring and adds progressive ramp-up through the last part of the stroke, which a plain steel coil can't do on its own. This is tuned with the coil spring you fit, not instead of it.

Compatibility & fit

The DB Tigon is sold as the damper only, without a coil spring and without mounting hardware — fit it with a Cane Creek linear-rate VALT spring sized to your weight and riding style (progressive-rate and third-party springs are not supported) and mounting hardware to suit your frame's eyelet width. 185mm and 205mm eye-to-eye lengths use a trunnion mount; 210mm and 230mm use a standard eyelet. Match eye-to-eye length, stroke and mount type exactly to your frame's suspension design. The Tune workshop can advise on spring rate and fit the shock.
