One press for both hub and suspension bearings, built to push bearings in and out dead square. The Acme-threaded rods, needle-bearing nuts and a full set of guides make bearing service accurate and repeatable.

Highlights

  • Two press rods, one sized for hubs and one for suspension work
  • Hub guides for 6800, 6802, 6803, 6900, 6901, 6902, 6903, MR 1526 and MR 1830 bearings
  • Double-sided suspension inner (pusher) pilots: 8/10/11mm, 15/17mm and 18/20mm
  • Four double-sided receiver cups covering bearing ODs from 12mm to 32mm
  • 29-degree Acme thread for exact 90-degree force and accurate seating
  • Static nut with a precision needle bearing for smooth, bind-free pressing

Why a linear press

The press rods use a 29-degree Acme thread, the design used in lead screw drives for CNC machines. Its broader thread base is stronger and far more accurate than a standard V thread, so force goes in at exactly 90 degrees for straight seating and alignment. Each rod runs a static nut fitted with a precision needle bearing with ground surfaces, rather than a plain bushing, for a smooth, bind-free action.

Linear Quick handles

The 6061 alloy handles combine like small transformers: two short handles for tight spaces, two long for more leverage, or one of each for control. They snap onto the 15mm (5/8in) stainless nuts, which also take open-end or socket wrenches, and each handle end is machined to take an Allen key.

Ceramic bearings and workshop service

For XD-15 ceramic-hybrid bearings, Enduro recommends pressing them out gently with this Linear Press and the hub axle rather than a blind hole puller. Enduro also lists its BRT-040 toolkits for adding bottom bracket and hub bearing work to this press. Prefer us to do it? Our Marrickville workshop replaces hub and pivot bearings as a separate service.

Compatibility & fit

  • Hub bearings: guides for 6800, 6802, 6803, 6900, 6901, 6902, 6903, MR 1526 and MR 1830
  • Suspension bearings: 8/10/11mm, 15/17mm and 18/20mm pilots, receiver cups for 12–32mm bearing ODs
  • Bottom bracket bearings: Enduro's BRT-040 toolkits, sold separately, add BB bearing removal and installation
Enduro covers its bearing removal and installation tools with a Limited Two-Year Warranty against wear and manufacturing defects, when used properly. Enduro recommends wiping the tools clean after each use and keeping a light coat of Enduro MAX Grease on threaded surfaces. Normal wear, misuse, abuse and modification are not covered, and cover applies to the original owner with proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Lusty Industries, Enduro Bearings' Australian distributor.
