Control and durability

Cutting in both directions gives more control and less vibration, and carbide grit outlasts toothed metal blades on difficult materials such as composites.

What it cuts

Composites, hard metals such as hardened steel, cast iron and titanium, ceramic and masonry. Softer materials such as wood, plastic and aluminium cut more easily with a standard toothed blade.

Compatibility & fit

Fits the Effetto Mariposa Carbocut and any 10 inch hacksaw frame. At 1.6mm thick (versus 0.9mm for a standard blade), spacers or washers may be needed with some cutting guides.
