Tappabuco (Italian for "hole plugger") puts a tubeless plug tool where you can always reach it: in your handlebar end or inside your bottom bracket. Keep a plug loaded in the fork and a larger puncture is a quick roadside fix instead of a walk home.

Two sizes, two jobs

The 3.5mm plug is the go-to for bigger punctures in mountain bike tyres, while a 1.5mm plug is often enough for smaller damage and for road and gravel tyres. Effetto Mariposa gives the 1.5mm plug its own small fork so the tool doesn't open the hole wider than the plug can fill.

Carried safely

Plug tools are sharp, so Tappabuco stores the fork inside the bar or bottom bracket where it can't damage anything. Spare plugs can stay on their card, with the fork pushed between two plugs. Some handlebars grip tighter than others: test the pull-out after fitting, and lightly lubricate the bar if it's hard to remove.
