Caffélatex Tubeless Valves use a modular base to seal on almost any rim. A flat rubber base suits many rims on its own, and the supplied conical adapter converts it for rims where a conical base seals better.

Flat or conical, your choice

On Presta-drilled rims the flat base may seal perfectly without the adapter, depending on rim shape. On rims with a wider inside hole, or Schrader-drilled rims, Effetto recommends fitting the conical adapter before inserting the valve. With so many rim profiles around, being able to switch between the two is the point.

Light and reliable

Effetto chose an aluminium alloy that bends before it breaks, adding reliability without adding weight: 3.6 g for 40mm, 5.1 g for 70mm and 6.5 g for 100mm (valve alone). The black version has a black cap; silver comes with a red cap.

Compatibility & fit

Choose the length by rim profile height. 40mm suits 10–37mm profiles (10–34mm with the conical adapter), 70mm suits 37–67mm (34–64mm with the adapter) and 100mm suits 67–97mm (64–94mm with the adapter). The removable core also accepts Caffélatex Valve Extensions for even deeper rims. Fitting and set-up are a separate Tune Cycles workshop service and are not included.
