The DT Swiss R 414 is a lightweight cross-country air shock built around a linear air spring and a simple, reliable three-position lever. It is a proven design known for long service intervals and a planted, sensitive feel on the trail. The R 414 has been discontinued and superseded by the R 232 ONE, but DT Swiss continues to support it with spare parts.

Damping & tune
A grey metal lever switches between three pre-set compression modes: Open for descending, Drive for rolling and technical terrain, and Lock for sprinting or smooth climbs. Rebound is set with an in-line adjuster, and the air spring is tuned with a single Schrader valve.
Fit
This is a cross-country air shock with spherical-bearing eyelets. Confirm your frame's required eye-to-eye length, stroke and mounting hardware before fitting, as the R 414 was offered in several sizes. As the model is discontinued, availability is limited to remaining stock and spares.
DT Swiss covers this shock with a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Observe the recommended DT Swiss service intervals to keep performance and cover valid. Normal wear items are not covered, and the crash-replacement (Fair Share) programme applies to carbon rims only.
