The DT Swiss 240 Hybrid front hub brings 240 precision and easy servicing to the eMTB. It has a hub shell built for e-bike loads, with larger flanges drilled for DT Swiss 2.34 mm spokes, and a Centre Lock rotor mount.

Built for eMTB loads
From the outside it looks like a 240, but the Hybrid front has its own hub shell: larger flanges with spoke holes opened up for DT Swiss 2.34 mm spokes. DT designed it that way so the wheel better resists the extra acceleration and braking torque an eMTB puts through it. That makes it heavier than a standard 240 Boost front (159 g against 120 g in Centre Lock), and a stronger base for a hand-built eMTB wheel.
240 bearings and servicing
Inside it is classic 240: two 1728 cartridge bearings (17 × 28 × 7 mm) on an aluminium axle, serviced with standard DT tools and parts. Swap the end caps to run a 12 × 110 mm Boost or 15 × 110 mm Torque Cap fork (DT adapter kits below).
Compatibility & fit
Fits forks with a 15 × 110 mm Boost thru-axle; DT adapter kits convert it to 12 × 110 mm Boost or 15 × 110 mm Torque Cap. It takes Centre Lock rotors. To run 6-bolt rotors on it, add Shimano's SM-RTAD05 adapter (not for 6-bolt rotors that already use an SM-RT86 / RT76 aluminium carrier). Drilled 32H for J-bend spokes. Pair it with the 240 Hybrid rear hub for a matched eMTB wheelset.
