DT Swiss EXC 330 rim set — 28H front / 32H rear, 29", 27.5" or Mullet (29" front / 27.5" rear)
Two DT Swiss EXC 330 rims packed as one set: the rim pair inside our hand-built enduro wheel kits, and the same pair on its own for your own build. A 28H front and a 32H rear — the lighter front lacing many enduro builders prefer with a full-strength rear.
What is in the box
- Two DT Swiss EXC 330 rims in the diameter you choose — 29", 27.5" or Mullet (29" front / 27.5" rear)
- Each rim ships with DT Pro Lock flat hex alloy nipples (black), 32 mm tubeless tape, a tubeless valve (18-25 mm) and a decal set (black / gold / red) — nothing else to buy for lacing
The rim
- 30 mm internal width, 37.2 mm external, 22 mm deep — sized for 2.1–2.7" tyres (DT's recommended range for a 30 mm rim)
- One-piece PURE Carbon layup (no rim joint), asymmetric profile for even spoke tension, non-eyelet spoke bed
- ASTM 5 — Enduro; max system weight (rider, bike and gear) 130 kg
- ERD 561 mm (27.5") / 601 mm (29") · weight 491 g (27.5") / 533 g (29") (DT's figures)
- Hookless TSS tubeless profile — tubeless or tubeless-ready tyres only, never above the tyre's marked maximum pressure; 32 mm tape; e-bike approved by DT (max 32 km/h / 250 W)
Warranty
DT Swiss rims are covered for 24 months from purchase against material and manufacturing defects (dtswiss.com/en/support/warranty). Carbon rims also join DT's Fair-Share programme: a first owner who damages a rim in a crash gets a replacement for a fixed fee, not full price, for ten years from purchase. Any claim comes back to Tune Cycles — bring the rim to Marrickville or contact us with your order number.
DT Swiss rims are covered for 24 months from purchase against material and manufacturing defects (dtswiss.com/en/support/warranty); riding outside the rim's ASTM category voids it. Any claim comes back to Tune Cycles: bring the rim to Marrickville or contact us with your order number and we handle it with the brand. Wear, crash damage, corrosion and incorrect fitting are not covered.
Crash damage on a DT carbon rim is not a warranty case, but DT's Fair-Share programme replaces a first owner's crashed rim for a fixed fee instead of the full price, for ten years from purchase (rims bought after 1 March 2025). Ask us for the current Australian fee — the claim goes through Tune Cycles and Apollo.
