Synthesis DH Carbon is the downhill rim from Crankbrothers' tuned wheel system. Front and rear rims each get their own design, so the front wheel stays compliant for handling, grip and control in turns, while the rear supports peak loads and tracks straight at speed.

Tuned for downhill
Crankbrothers builds Synthesis front and rear rims with their own rim profiles, carbon layups and spoke counts, putting compliance and stiffness where each is rewarded best. Up front that means a compliant rim that improves handling and grip in turns; at the rear, a stiffer rim that supports peak loads and adds stability at speed.

Compatibility & fit
This is a rim only. It is not laced, and the hub, spokes and nipples are separate. Front rims are drilled 28 hole and rear rims 32 hole, so pick the rim that matches its position and your hub's hole count. Crankbrothers' Synthesis rim profile chart lists a 2.3in to 2.5in tyre range for the DH rim, and Crankbrothers wheels are for disc brakes only.
Our workshop builds wheels and can lace this rim to your hub. Wheel building is a separate workshop service and is not included in the price.
