Fit and compatibility

For single-speed drivetrains only — a derailleur bike needs a chain matched to its speed count. 1/8" chains suit BMX, fixie and most hub-gear bikes; 3/32" and 11/128" single-speed chains suit narrower chainrings and e-bike hub motors.

Not sure what length you need? Count the links on your old chain (pin-to-pin, not end-to-end) and match it, assuming your old chain was the correct length to begin with. Most road and MTB chains run 114–116 links; 12-speed chains typically run 126.
