The Shimano CN-M7100 is the 12-speed HYPERGLIDE+ chain Shimano specifies for both the SLX M7100 mountain bike groupset and the 105 R7100 road groupset, so it is the right replacement for either drivetrain. Supplied at 126 links with a Quick Link, so it fits the longest road and MTB chain lengths and can be shortened to suit.

Compatibility and fit

Shimano HG 12-speed chain. Specified for the 105 R7100 road groupset and the SLX M7100 mountain bike groupset, and compatible with every Shimano 12-speed HYPERGLIDE+ drivetrain (Dura-Ace R9200, Ultegra R8100, GRX RX820, XTR M9100, XT M8100, Deore M6100) and Shimano STEPS e-bike systems. Not compatible with 11-speed or earlier drivetrains. The Quick Link is single-use: fit a new link if the chain is opened again. Shorten to length before fitting.

Shimano warrants to the original retail purchaser that its bicycle components are free from non-conformities in material and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.
