Strength for e-bike torque

YBN's chart shows no hollowed pins or plates on the MK13, and the chain uses reinforced riveting for strength and shifting stability under high load or electronic shifting. It suits mid-motor e-bikes and SRAM T-Type transmissions.

SLA and DHA explained

YBN spent two years developing its SLA (Superior Lubricating Aid) Ni-PTFE coating. It cuts friction, runs quietly, resists sticking dirt and is easy to clean, and YBN says it lifts durability by 200%. DHA chromium carbide surface hardening increases the hardness of the pins so they keep performing even with abrasive grit around, and adds rust resistance.

Compatibility & fit

YBN files the MK13 series under its 13 speed chains and lists SRAM Red XPLR 13 (13 speed) plus Red E1 AXS and XX SL Eagle T-Type (12 speed) Flat Top drivetrains. It is not compatible with non-Flat Top systems such as Shimano 12 speed, SRAM Eagle non-T-Type or Campagnolo. Our workshop can size and fit your chain.
