Why cup and cone matters
Unlike a sealed cartridge hub, a cup and cone hub can be stripped, regreased and re-adjusted. That means a wheel that keeps rolling smoothly for years with routine servicing instead of being thrown out when the bearings get notchy.
Compatibility and fit
Rear wheel only, sold individually. Fits frames with 130 mm rear spacing and rim brakes — it is not a disc wheel and has no rotor mount. Cassette, tyre, tube and rim tape are not included. Use a Shimano Hyperglide 10 or 11-speed cassette.

Covered by Shimano's standard warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear is excluded — rim brake tracks, bearing surfaces, freehub pawls and spokes wear with use, and damage from impacts, crashes, incorrect spoke tension or riding a wheel out of true is not covered.
Warranty claims and returns go through Tune Cycles. Contact us with your order number, we will assess the wheel and handle the claim with the distributor on your behalf.
