SKU code: SHM-EWHR501FCBYL
Shimano WH-R501 700c front wheel, rim brake, black
A dependable, affordable replacement front wheel for rim-brake road bikes. Built on an aluminium 15C clincher rim with round stainless steel spokes and brass nipples, it is a sound entry-level wheel for everything from training rides to the daily commute.
Highlights
- 700c front wheel, 622 x 15C aluminium clincher rim
- Machined braking surface for rim-brake calipers
- 100 mm quick-release front spacing
- Round stainless steel spokes with brass nipples
- Sealed, low-maintenance cup-and-cone bearings
Built to keep going
The sealed cone bearings run efficiently and carry load well, and because they can be adjusted and regreased rather than replaced, the wheel stays serviceable for years. Standard spokes and brass nipples mean any bike shop can true or rebuild it.
Compatibility and fit
- For rim-brake road forks with 100 mm spacing and a quick-release axle
- Not for disc brakes
- Tyre, tube, rim tape and skewer are not included
If you are not sure whether your fork takes a quick-release wheel, contact Tune Cycles before ordering.
