Ride feel

Resistance is controlled electromagnetically and set automatically by your app or bike computer, so ERG workouts hold your target power and simulated climbs get harder as the road tilts up.

Connectivity

KICKR CORE connects over Bluetooth, ANT+ and ANT+ FE-C and works with iOS, Android, Mac and Windows devices. It also supports third-party power meters and receives firmware updates wirelessly through the Wahoo app.

Drivetrain

The stock freehub is Shimano HyperGlide (HG) compatible, for 8 to 12-speed Shimano HG and SRAM PG cassettes. SRAM XD/XDR and Campagnolo drivetrains need the matching KICKR freehub body, sold separately. Shimano Micro Spline is not supported.

Compatibility & fit

Fits 130 and 135 mm quick-release and 12x142 and 12x148 mm thru-axle bikes, with adapters and a quick-release skewer included. The CORE is optimised for 700c and 29-inch wheels; some 27.5-inch and smaller bikes need a front wheel block to sit level.

Some 2020-onward frames (including some Trek, Giant and Cervelo disc models) need Wahoo's updated thru-axle adapters. Check Wahoo's frame compatibility list, or ask us, before you buy.
