The Tubo MTB Plus covers both 27.5+ and 29+ tyres in one tube, shaving rotating weight off a plus-size or e-MTB wheel while standing up to the trail. Tubolito rates it two times stronger than a standard butyl tube.

One size for mixed wheels

Because it covers both 27.5+ and 29+, Tubolito points out that the Tubo MTB Plus suits mullet bikes and makes a handy spare when you ride with someone on a different wheel size.

Stronger, lighter, better for e-MTB

In Tubolito's needle puncture test its tubes were twice as resistant to punctures as conventional butyl. The lower rotating weight also means less effort per pedal stroke, which on an e-MTB can help stretch battery range. Tubolito tubes are TPU, so standard butyl patch kits won't bond to them. If you do puncture, repair it with Tubolito's own Tubo-Patch Kit.

Compatibility & fit

Fits 27.5" and 29" plus tyres 2.5-3.0" wide, on disc brake bikes only. Presta valve, 42mm long; check that it clears your rim depth. Fitting is available as a separate Tune Cycles workshop service and is not included.
