Power Alu is for riders who count every gram. It pairs Trickstuff's Power compound with an aluminium backing plate, saving about 10 g per pair over steel-backed pads.

Light, with limits

The weight saving comes with a trade-off. Trickstuff doesn't recommend Power Alu for long descents or heavy rider-plus-bike weights. For those, choose a steel-backed pad such as Power or Standard in the same shape.

Bedding in and care

New pads need bedding in before the first ride: Trickstuff suggests about 20 firm stops from 30 km/h to 5 km/h. For the best result with Trickstuff organic pads, replace a disc that has previously run sintered pads. Keep oil and grease well away from pads and discs.

If your brake isn't listed, ask us before you order. Our Marrickville workshop can fit new pads, bed them in and bleed your brakes if the lever feel needs attention.

Covered against manufacturing defects under Trickstuff's warranty, alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Normal wear and contamination aren't manufacturing defects. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with KWT Imports, Trickstuff's Australian distributor.
