XTR Mono-Body Caliper

The BR-M9100 caliper is cold-forged from a single block of aluminium — a process Shimano calls Mono-Body construction — to eliminate flex points and deliver exceptionally consistent brake feel throughout a descent or race lap. Twin ceramic pistons provide a smooth, progressive power curve that rewards precise finger control, while the post-mount interface keeps installation compatible with a wide range of fork standards.

Race-Ready Lever

The BL-M9100 lever is designed around the weight and ergonomic demands of XC racing. The carbon lever blade and magnesium master cylinder keep mass to a minimum, while the individually adjustable reach lets you dial in a comfortable two-finger (or one-finger) pull position regardless of hand size. I-Spec EV mounting means the lever and shifter slot together as a unified unit, reducing bar clutter without compromising adjustability.

Resin Pads & System Setup

This kit is supplied with K03Ti resin pads (titanium backing plate, without fin) — the lightweight, low-noise choice for dry to mixed trail conditions common in XC racing. The system ships pre-bled with Shimano mineral oil through the SM-BH90-SS hose, so installation is clean and straightforward. Note: this kit does not include a rotor; rotor must be purchased separately.
