Run fixed or freewheel from a single rear hub. The SRAM Torpedo Fix & Free lets you switch between a locked fixed gear and a coasting freewheel with a few turns of a screwdriver, so one wheel covers track riding, skid-stop street use and relaxed coasting.

Two rides in one hub
In fixed mode the cog is locked to the wheel, giving the direct, connected feel and skid control track and fixie riders want. Switch the internal mechanism to free mode and the same hub coasts like a normal single-speed, ideal for commuting and cruising without changing wheels.
Built to be laced
The shell is drilled 32-hole, the standard count for a robust, easily serviced single-speed or track wheel, and the hub runs an 18-tooth 3/32" cog. The 174mm steel axle uses a 10x1 thread.
Fit & compatibility
Designed for rim-brake single-speed, track and fixed-gear frames. Native over-locknut spacing is 120mm, and an included spacing kit adapts the hub to 130mm road dropouts. This is a rear hub for rim-brake bikes; it is not disc-brake compatible.
SRAM products are covered by SRAM's standard limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the original date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, normal wear and tear, crashes, or modification.
