What it is
This is the internal rear axle for SRAM's Double Time hub, supplied as an assembly with the two hubshell cartridge bearings. If your rear hub has developed play, roughness or bearing drag, fitting a new axle and bearings is the standard service to return the hub to quiet, free-running performance.
Lightweight by design
The axle is titanium, chosen by SRAM for these performance wheels to trim rotating and rotational weight without giving up durability. The two included sealed bearings (6902-2RS) are the same items used in the original hub build.
Fit and compatibility
Designed for the SRAM Double Time rear hub fitted to Rise 60 (B1), Rise XX, Roam 30, Roam 40, Roam 50/60 (B1), Rail 40 and X0 hub wheelsets. This assembly does not change a hub's axle diameter or dropout spacing; the end caps determine the dropout standard (for example 12x142mm thru-axle) and are supplied separately. This genuine SRAM part is covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship in line with SRAM's standard component warranty. Warranty does not cover normal wear, improper installation, or damage from misuse.
