Power and control

The forged four-piston S4 caliper delivers the modulation and outright power trail, all-mountain and enduro riders rely on, while reshaped seals and pistons help manage heat so lever feel stays consistent run after run.

Easy living with it

The tool-free Reach Adjust dial lets you tune lever throw by hand, and the Bleeding Edge bleed port makes routine servicing quick and tidy. The lever clamp is MatchMaker X compatible, so it can share a clamp with a SRAM trigger shifter to clean up your bar.

Fit and compatibility

This is the rear brake, supplied with a longer 1550mm hose to reach the rear caliper, and a 20mm post-mount caliper bracket. It is supplied as a brake assembly only - rotor and any additional mounting hardware are sold separately. The caliper accepts SRAM rotors from 140mm up to 200mm using the appropriate bracket. Uses DOT 5.1 brake fluid. In the Australian convention the left-hand lever operates the rear brake; confirm your preferred lever-to-brake routing on fitment.
