Why a 1x system
Running a single chainring removes the front derailleur and shifter, simplifying setup and reducing the chance of a dropped chain. The patented X-SYNC tooth profile uses tall, square-edged teeth that engage the chain earlier than conventional teeth, while alternating thick and thin teeth grip the chain across its full width. Mud-clearing recesses keep the interface running cleanly when conditions turn ugly.
Built to last
The aluminium crank arms and chainring are matched to an integrated 4-arm asymmetric spider that maximises stiffness-to-weight, so power transfer stays direct under load. The 42T ring is well suited to gravel and all-road riding paired with a wide-range 1x cassette.
Compatibility and fit
This crankset uses a BB30/PF30 spindle interface and requires a frame with a compatible BB30 or PF30 bottom bracket shell. BB30 bearings/bottom bracket are not included and must be sourced separately. It works with SRAM 10- and 11-speed 1x drivetrains and is designed for 130mm road hubs (and 135/142mm road disc hubs with chainstays under 415mm). Confirm your frame's bottom bracket standard and required crank length before ordering.
SRAM components are covered by SRAM's standard limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the original date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, improper installation, accident, or modification.
