When only the fastest chain will do. SpeedChip is a full-synthetic wax made from the same exotic base oils as SILCA Synergetic, blended with three sizes of sub-micron and nanoscale tungsten disulphide platelets. SILCA says it's the fastest wax ever used in a cycling lubricant.

The trade-off

The fastest waxes don't last as long per application. SpeedChip's only downside is that you'll need to re-lubricate more often, so it suits race chains, time trials and key events. For longevity, pair or swap with EnduranceChip.

Compatibility & fit

For adding to SILCA Secret Chain Blend hot-melt wax, at one or two chips per 250 g of wax. Efficiency gains are measured against SILCA Secret Chain Blend. Compatible with SILCA StripChip. The change to the wax is permanent.

SILCA's Limited Warranty covers this item against manufacturer defects for 2 years. It is classed as a wear or consumable part, so normal wear and use-related degradation are not covered. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with SILCA's Australian distributor.
