Mattone is Italian for brick, and the Mattone Grande is SILCA's bigger brick: 0.74 L, almost twice the volume of the original Mattone, held high and tight under the saddle by a BOA closure. No swinging, swaying or rattling.

BOA closure

SILCA says the BOA closure makes more than 15 times the holding power of Velcro. Its ratcheting mechanism won't creep or loosen, even under extreme vibration and impact, so the bag stays put until you need it.

Room for long days

With internal dimensions of 150 x 90 x 55 mm, the Grande holds up to three road tubes plus two CO2 cartridges, a regulator, tyre levers and a multitool, or up to two 29 x 2.5 MTB tubes with CO2, levers and a multitool. It suits long adventure rides and races where you need to carry more.

Compatibility & fit

The BOA strap needs at least 41 mm of free saddle rail length for a good fit. SILCA's Hypalon EDC Strap is not a replacement for the Mattone strap.
