Sporty and weatherproof, the Basil Miles Tarpaulin double pannier carries 34 litres in tough matte black tarpaulin with orange details, ready for the commute, a long weekend ride or a cycle tour.

Highlights

• 34 litres total across two bags
• Waterproof tarpaulin with taped seams and a roll-top
• Elastic side pockets for a bottle or rain jacket
• Reflective details and loops for LED lights
• Pre-fitted MIK plate or Universal Bridge straps, depending on version

Rain? No problem

Taped seams and roll-top closures keep your gear dry when a shower rolls through. Elastic pockets on each side hold a drink bottle or a packable jacket where you can reach them.

Be seen

Reflective details catch headlights, and loops on both bags take extra LED lights for night riding.

Compatibility & fit

The MIK Plate version clicks onto any rack with the MIK profile, or onto a standard rack once a MIK carrier plate (sold separately) is fitted; the plate locks in place for security. The Straps version uses the Universal Bridge system on most rear racks, or add a Basil DBS carrier plate or MIK adapter plate (both sold separately). For heavy loads, a Basil Distance Holder (sold separately) keeps the bags clear of your spokes. Need a rack fitted? You can book a workshop visit with Tune Cycles. Fitting is a separate service.
