Technology

Shimano Dynamic Chain Engagement+ (DCE+) uses a specially shaped tooth profile to guide the chain onto the ring positively, even when the drivetrain is under tension or the bike is bucking over roots and rocks. Combined with the rigid direct mount interface, the SM-CRM95 virtually eliminates dropped chains without the need for a separate chain guide in most trail conditions.

The SM-CRM95 34T (part number ISMCRM95A4) is compatible with Shimano XTR cranks FC-M9100-1, FC-M9120-1, and FC-M9130-1 using the Shimano direct mount interface. Requires a Shimano Hyperglide+ compatible 12-speed chain. Chainline: 52 mm. Suitable for both standard MTB hub spacing (135/142 mm) and Boost hub spacing (141/148 mm) depending on the crank configuration.
